Many of you have been following the journey of one of our students, Sequoyah Smith, who just over 6 weeks ago was in a terrible car accident. Sequoyah is a junior in our ministry and has been fighting for her life since that Saturday night.
God has been performing incredible miracles, bringing Sequoyah back to health. She’s still in the ICU, but has been making amazing progress. You can follow her journey here.
Today, Sequoyah breathed on her own for 9 hours (which is absolutely HUGE!), was able to hold and briefly look at a few photos. She was even laughing by the end of the evening. God is so good.
Sequoyah was even laughing today. It’s her mom and dad’s anniversary today – what a gift her progress is to them!
